Nellie Vaughn

Old church in West Greenwich, RI.

It is near a cemetery where a "vampire" Nellie Vaughn is buried. Now it has been proven that she was not actually a vampire, however there are still stories of her haunting the cemetery. I have also heard stories of people who have heard Priests giving sermons in the church, even though it is heavily locked up.

Here is my experience at this church, whether it has anything to do with ghosts is very unclear, it is kinda weird though.

I was driving around with my friend Peter and we decided to take a trip to what we thought was actually the Mercy Brown burial spot. We pulled into the dirt parking lot with this old, dilapidated church next to us. We got out of my car and walked into the cemetery. We circled a big burial plot in the middle, trying to decide if it was Mercy Brown or not (later we found this isn't even the cemetery where she is buried, but regardless.) A motion sensor light that is on the church came on, but we didn't see anything move by it. Then a black van pulled into the parking lot and parked right next to my car. No one got out, it just parked there with the engine running. Peter and I decided to get the hell out of there at this point. We walked briskly back to my car and didn't make eye contact with the driver. I turned on my car and pulled out of the parking lot. The van proceeded to follow me 4 miles down the winding road back out to the main road.

Like I said, probably has nothing to do with ghosts, but still a little weird.
